The scene

You know this scene.

It's Tuesday afternoon.

You're preparing the monthly report for a Japanese cosmetics client spending ¥8M/month on Meta ads. Half of that budget is targeted at LINE friend-add.

Meta Ads Manager says: 527 Lead conversions, CPA ¥7,590.

The client's LINE Official Account dashboard shows: 213 new friends this month.

Your client's CMO is going to ask: "Which campaigns drove the 213?"

You don't know. You've never known. Neither does anyone on your team. Neither does the LINE account manager the client has worked with for three years.

You'll build a spreadsheet that implies an answer by cross-referencing timestamps and hoping the client doesn't ask hard questions. You'll call it "LINE attribution" in the deck.

You're not running ads. You're running superstition.

→ You're reporting numbers you can't defend.

→ You're optimizing blind.

→ Your client already knows something is wrong.

The cost of no attribution

Right now, you're leaking budget on three fronts.

~30%
of your LINE ad spend is misallocated

Without per-campaign CPA visibility, budget defaults to whichever campaign looked best last month by coincidence. We've seen 25–40% across PoC clients.

0
real signals reach Meta's algorithm

Since late 2025, Meta penalizes accounts without CAPI. LINE friend-add is the single biggest "missing event" in most APAC accounts. Every week without CAPI is a week of optimization against incomplete data.

3–5×
more creative variants, zero attribution

AI-generated creative has multiplied your variant count. Without attribution, you can't tell winners from noise. The agency that solves this in 2026 out-optimizes you on every shared client they pitch against.

The promise

After 2 weeks of implementation, you will:

  • Know exactly which Meta campaign drove each LINE friendPer-campaign CPA, per-LP CVR, per-button CVR. No more spreadsheet guesswork.
  • Send conversion data back to Meta via CAPIYour campaigns optimize on real signal, not phantom Pixel events.
  • Drop client CPA by 20–30% within 30 daysMost of it from cutting clearly underperforming campaigns that were invisible before.
  • Have a defensible monthly report templateYour client can take it to their CMO without you sweating the questions.
  • Be the LINE attribution expert at your agencyIn our experience watching APAC marketers, this becomes a career moat in 18 months.
At ¥1M/month in LINE-targeted Meta spend, a 10% CPA improvement = ¥100,000 recovered in month one. The Kit is $99. It pays for itself five times over in your first reporting cycle.

Be honest with yourself

Is this for you?

This is for you if:

  • You run paid media into LINE friend-addMeta, Google, or both.
  • Your monthly LINE-related ad spend is ≥ $1,000The Kit pays back in week one at this scale.
  • You can hand off code to an engineerOr you're technical enough yourself.
  • You manage at least one APAC clientJapan, Taiwan, Thailand.
  • You're tired of explaining "the numbers don't match"Every month, in every report.

Skip this if:

  • You don't run paid media into LINE (organic CRM only)
  • Your monthly LINE ad spend is under $1,000

Who wrote this

Who I am, and why I wrote this.

FT

I'm Fukuda Tatsuya — builder of Linetrace, the LP-level LINE attribution tool used by Japanese agencies and DTC brands.

Before Linetrace, I spent 4+ years as a pre-sales engineer at mico, supporting LINE CRM strategy for enterprise clients including Yaman, Charles & Keith, and Echo. I've watched attribution break in real time, on real budgets, across hundreds of campaigns.

I built this Kit because nobody in English wrote what I needed when I started — and because the LP-insight approach this Kit teaches is what turned Linetrace into a real product.

Every line of code in here ships in production at Linetrace. Every diagnostic is from real PoC debugging. Every number in the case studies is from actual campaigns.

FAQ

Questions you might ask before buying.

Do I need to be a developer to use this?
No. You need access to a developer (in-house or freelance). The book is written so you can read everything, skip the deep code if you want, and hand the "Engineer Handoff Spec" sections to your dev. They'll thank you. Implementation takes 2–3 hours per chapter, max.
Will this work for direct-link flows (Meta ad → LINE, no LP)?
Partially. Chapter 11 covers three architectures. Approach A (LIFF) and Approach B (Tracking URL) work for direct-link flows. Approach C (LP Cookie + Beacon) requires an LP — that's the one Linetrace productionizes. We give you the working implementation for all three.
How is this different from L-ad or L-TRACK?
L-ad and L-TRACK are vendors that sell finished tools for the Japanese market. This Kit teaches you to build (or evaluate) attribution yourself, in English, with full transparency on trade-offs. Chapter 15 includes a side-by-side vendor comparison so you can decide to build OR buy with full information.
Does this cover TikTok ads?
Not yet. TikTok CAPI integration is on the v2 roadmap (Q3 2026). For now, if your client runs TikTok-heavy campaigns, the Kit recommends L-TRACK as a complementary solution and explains why honestly.
Refund policy?
30-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. If the Kit doesn't help, email [email protected] and we refund. We've never had to use this clause — but it exists so you can buy without hesitation.
Will I get updates if Meta or LINE changes their APIs?
Yes. Lifetime access includes free updates for at least 24 months. The code repository is private to buyers and is updated when material API changes occur.
What if my market is Taiwan or Thailand, not Japan?
The Kit covers all three markets. Chapter 16 has market-specific notes for Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand, including which approach fits each market's typical flow.
Can I share this with my team?
One-team license is included. You can share with up to 5 colleagues at the same agency or company. For larger teams, contact us for a multi-seat license.
